Hello! I’m Chas Huggins, a passionate and innovative software developer with roots in Long Island, NY. My journey in tech began at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, where I pursued a degree in Accounting and Economics and got my first taste of programming. My career initially unfolded in finance, working at prestigious firms like Citigroup and HSBC, where I honed my skills in financial modeling and client management. However, it was during this time that I recognized the potential of technology to transform the finance sector.

Driven by a desire to innovate, I plunged into the world of programming, mastering languages and technologies such as Python, JavaScript, ReactJs, Ruby on Rails, NodeJs, and many more. My fascination lies in the power of code to turn ideas into reality. My professional path has led me to impactful roles like Senior Software Engineer at Scrimmage Co and Quantitative Developer at Vacheron Capital LLC, where I’ve made significant contributions through restructuring teams, mentoring, and developing advanced technological solutions.

In every project I undertake, whether it’s the architecture of a React Native application or deploying a distributed data processing pipeline, I bring a blend of technical expertise and a deep understanding of finance.
